Join us at Spire Integrated Systems for a continued education course presented by Lutron Electronics, Inc., premier provider of automated shades and lighting. Learn to identify several types of automated shading systems and understand how they take advantage of daylighting potential. Afterwards explore Spire’s completely renovated kitchen, the first Ketra showroom in Michigan. Spire will also be hosting demos on Meridian, Bang & Olufsen, Samsung and Josh.ai, the newest voice activated home automation system.

The Course Will Cover:
– Understand the opportunities and obstacles presented by daylight
– Identify how the various types of dynamic fenestration systems take advantage of daylighting potential
– Understand how fabric properties affect daylighting performance (lighting & HVAC energy savings) and occupant comfort (glare reduction, view preservation, thermal comfort)
– Understand how daylighting design is enhanced through performance shading solutions
